Je ne sais pas français! [Part I]

The same day we traveled to Monaco we also traveled to France, our first stop and the place we were staying overnight was in Nice, France. In contrast to the smaller Monaco, Nice was bustling and there was so much to see in such a short amount of time, we were only there for late afternoon and that night. The motto of the French Revolution

Flowers in one of the flower markets

The beaches here are very rocky rather than sandy.

Combination of cold and excitement! You were not getting me in that water!

Dinner that evening, authentic French Cuisine! (Too bad the people in our excursion group were so rude, in turn it made the waiters and waitresses dislike us greatly. Some people just have no class once they are out of their parent's sight.)

Most people took pictures of their food before they ate it, I just dug right in!

There was more to our dinner than just these two dishes pictured, want to see more? My roommate Rachael is writing a food blog and documenting all her meals, you can see our french dinner here!

The city really does transform at night time, having had such little time to explore before dinner my friends and I set out to admire the city at night:

A really cool lighting effect they did for one of the churches!

The tan statues on platforms from the daytime, only know they glow colors!
